This is an informational design based poster to inform viewers of the upcoming guest speakers. The form and concept reflect how typography is the stepping blocks that allows us to reach new levels everyday.

Bodoni is one of the most organic and aesthetically pleasing fonts in history. I chose to base my editorial on how natural and organic design can truly be when things are done just right.
Environmental Typography Narrative
Aren't signals and signs meant to show the way?
To guide us? To guide the screaming ambulance that is trying to get to a destination as efficiently
as possible. To guide the young tourists in the big city for the first time. To guide the man late for
work zooming by to take caution that children
may be present. But can too much guidance
conjure absentness? How can typography
effect our environment?
GOOD Magazine
GOOD Magazine is a heavily based informative design magazine. Every month they choose a design student to design an editorial for their magazine. This is my five page editorial on the invasive species, pythons, and their habitats.
Biography Narrative:
Ronda Rousey
Everyone's got a story to tell and as a visual communicator, I believe their is no bad story to tell only bad ways of conceptualization. This narrative biography details the compelling story of UFC's first female fighter Ronda Rousey, and how being a champion takes more than just winning.
Illustrations
Illustration has a significant role in the work I do. Not every designer knows how to illustrate, but when one does it's like a mint on a pillow at a hotel. It isn't noticed when it's not there but when it is, it's a nice touch.
Branding & Identities
One of my favorite aspects of design is taking a brand and being able to synthesize everything that brand stands for and establish a specific and iconic design that captures everything that brand stands for.
A Magazine
Leading ad campaigns and developing promotional designs for Kent State's student run culture, beauty, and fashion magazine has given me opportunities to combine the two forces my passion runs deep for; advertising and design.
